This museum preserves 205 paintings and 255 drawings and aquarelles by Van Gogh. Just a part of it is on permanent exhibition. Besides Van Gogh’s paintings you can also find many works by his contemporaries, such as Gauguin, Touoluse-Lautrec and Emile Bernard. The museum also houses the artist’s own collection of Japanese prints as well as the letters the painter wrote to his brother Théo.
