Vondelpark in Amsterdam

This is the largest and most popular park of the city. This English-style park was open to the public in 1865 and hosts a statue of the Dutch poet Vondel, after whom the park was named. Every year thousands of visitors come here to relax or to enjoy bicycle riding. During the Queen's Day (April 30) the largest flea market of The Netherlands takes place.
